Compared to other McDonald's outlets, this one stands out thanks to its hospitality. Never before have I been bid a nice day by a maccas employee as I leave the store, or seen an employee mention the weather in such a cheery way to a customer as they pass by each other. It's the small things that count, and this store is testament to that fact.
Needed a quick dinner after a 12 hour shift. Sat down to eat and couldn't help but overhear the conversation of two teenagers a few tables away, one of whom worked there. Now, I'm not much for eavesdropping but when you take a call on loudspeaker you almost force it on me, it also shows the kind of person you are. But I was is Singleton after all.Anyway the young fella starts talking about fighting, and I think 'here we go, dinner AND a show!' Boasting about not being worried about going to jail for fighting another local fellow that's also a really good fighter, I started to become invested. I wanted to see the fight and who would end up in jail.However I was far too tired from the aforementioned 12 hour shift that I just had to take my strawberry shake and head home.Now I'll never know the outcome.The meal was fine enough. Will go again. Only because I'm going to need another easy meal in Singleton one day.
Went here Monday 28/1/19 bout 3.15pm, had a young boy help serve us, was absolutely fantastic, bright bubbly willing to help, manners and politeness was from old school teachings, he'd be a credit to his mum n dad and an asset to McDonald's .Congrats to maccas
The customer service lady who was supposed to be helping us with the menu selection was so hard, brash and pushy, even severe in her manner. It was like I was being forced to rush. I had never used the panel before or eaten at McDonald's for years so I had no idea what I wanted. Not likely to visit again unless for a simple coffee. Was supposed to be a simple family outing. A BAD choice. Other customer service people were softer, I think they need to take care who they have on duty.
It would have been great if they got the order right. Ordered a grilled chicken wrap, got a deep fried one. My partner doesn't like to complain as in may cause a young person get into trouble.
