Good pub, easily overlooked from the main road.Great bistro food
Room very basic air con is poor food was great pub nice and cool friendly and helpful staff changed rooms as tv and air con did not work in first room. Great stay if travelling through.
Attended for dinner on new years eve. Was very busy but staff managed to get food out quickly. Food was tasty and service was great, bar staff very friendly and beers icy cold. I will be back again .

When you purchase $32 steak, you expect some level of quality in product. I will say, that the preparation of the first meal was fantastic, I asked for a medium to medium rare and got a medium to medium rare and the chips were delicious but the quality of the meat used was well below par. (Kudos to the Chef who cooked it, no problems there.) I spoke to the waitress (who was very genuine and empathetic) and she organised another steak after I tried to drive a steak knife through my meal in front of her but to no avail. The second steak was well undercooked only just a rare, I guess to try overcome some of the toughness, I battled my way through it but still had to leave a small amount which was tough. Final thoughts. Even if the steak was better quality $32 for a pub meal is a bit rich and to top it off they charge you for gravy. For the most expensive pub in town I expected a little more...... actually a lot more. I always like to give places a second chance so let's hope next time I go the meat is of better quality.
